Prospect prospers

The Island head of one of Britain's largest unions says its seen a flood of new members from the unlikeliest industries.

Prospect has unveiled new offices in Victoria Street in Douglas, after doubling its on-Island membership over the past few years.

At the new headquarters, Angela Moffatt said Prospect is continuing to expand its numbers as more and more people worry about their jobs.

She says in recent years, the union's attracted members from the Island finance sector - which traditionally has been non-unionised.
