New drug and alcohol strategy set for change of tack

Strategy embraces legal and illegal substances

The Island's senior police officer thinks people will be surprised by elements of the government's new drug and alcohol strategy.

The strategy relates to substances across the spectrum, both legal and illegal, and will shape public policy designed to tackle the issues which arise.

Chief Constable Gary Roberts.
