Government given 'clear objectives' by Moneyval

Finance sector comes under scrutiny

The Manx government has been given 'clear objectives' by the ongoing MoneyVal report as the Island's finance sector comes under the spotlight.

That's according to Douglas East MHK Clare Bettison.

She's providing guidance for anti-money laundering legislation which has been taken to its third reading and will now be put before the upper chamber.

With further scrutiny of the sector due in the summer, Miss Bettison says MoneyVal has told politicians what's needed.
