On Perspective on the 17th February, Dollin Mercer and William King looked at The Department of Health and Social Care. Specifically, the predicted £3.5million overspend – for which Noble’s Hospital was mainly responsible.
In the second hour, we looked at the new Integrated Care ‘vision’ which looked similar to Wigan’s ‘vision’ from 2014.
The programme included audio from the sitting of the Public Accounts Committee hearing which revealed these findings. Also, Dollin Mercer spoke to Minister for Health and Social Care, David Ashford and Lawrie Hooper MHK.
