MGP competitors describe 'apocalyptic' wait for second qualifying session

No qualifying action took place on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday

Manx Grand Prix competitors have described the challenge of having to wait four days between qualifying sessions.

Adverse weather meant there was no action on the Mountain Course on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

The second qualifying session began at 1:20pm this afternoon (Thursday).

Last night, the tail end of Hurricane Ernesto meant gale force winds hit the Island.
