Sam to embark on solo tour

Island West End Star Samantha Barks is to embark on a solo concert tour.

The Laxey singer and actress, who is signed to United Agents Music, will perform at 10 different venues over a three week period, beginning at the Theatre Royal in Norwich on June the eighth.

It will follow the release of her first album this spring.

Best remembered for reaching the final of BBC's I'd Do Anything and starring as Éponine in the film adaptation of Les Misérables, Sam recently signed up to take part in the new series of Bear Grylls: Mission Survive.

The series begins on Thursday, March the third on ITV.
