Island joined London silence

A minute's silence was observed across the Isle of Man yesterday morning (Tuesday), in respect to those who died in the London terror attack.

Public buildings and Manx businesses marked the demonstration at the strike of 11 o'clock.

The silence, which was marked across Great Britain, was also held of Manx Radio.

Flags had been hanging at half-mast around the Island for the past two days.

Seven people lost their lives in Saturday's attack, after three men drove a van at crowds near London Bridge.
