Balmoral back in Manx waters

There's a chance to take a midsummer coastal cruise in Manx waters next weekend - when the MV Balmoral returns after a three-year break.

The vessel has been lovingly refurbished by volunteers who've raised more than £300,000 and is now back in passenger service.

She's sailing leisurely trips to the Calf of Man on Friday and Saturday (26, 27 June) and cruising to Peel on the Sunday.

On Tynwald Day in early July (Monday 6 July) a day trip's on offer to the Cumbrian port of Whitehaven - there local attractions are opening specially.
Spokesman Dick Clague says Balmoral is the last of an era - and a very special boat.

Tickets for the trip are available from Richmond Travel in Duke Street, Douglas.

Or you can book on line at whitefunnel.co.uk or 0117 325 6200.
