Manufacturer received reports on matter after first Supersport race
Triumph says it's helping certain TT riders to solve potential issues over engine performance on their machines in the last few days.
The organisation's confirmed following the opening supersport race last Saturday it's had some reports competitors have struggled to get engines optimized following the release of revised third-party ECU software at the races.
In a statement, the company adds it's working with crews on where improvements can be made for the Supersport TT Race 2 which is scheduled for tomorrow (6 June).
It comes after rider Jamie Coward took to social media over technical issues he says forced him to retire from last Saturday's race.
At this time, Triumph doesn't believe the problem with Coward's bike was related to the ECU software.
