Residents asked to respect southern golf course

Huge effort being put in to maintain it

Locals are being reminded to be more considerate when accessing the Island’s golf courses.

One golf club has received some reports of people playing football on its greens and fairways.

Port St Mary Golf Club says it accepts the edges being used to allow passing on the paths, however it does not tolerate poor behaviour.

The club says it relies on volunteers to look after the course all year round to ensure it’s kept to a high standard.
