Players unite to complete 3008 miles over a week
Manx netballers have bloodied their trainers and lost toe-nails recently to raise thousands of pounds for some of those in the community hit hardest by the pandemic.
The Pandemic Parish Equivalent challenge saw more than 100 local players from clubs across the Island unite to walk, run, or cycle as many Parish Walks as possible over a week.
It was the brainchild of Manx Rams player Rhian Evans, who originally set out to raise £500 for Victim Support Isle of Man and The Manx Solidarity Fund, while paying homage to this year's cancelled Parish Walk.
Over eight days, the netballers completed 3008 miles between them - the equivalent of 35 Parish Walks - raising £3,712 in the process, which will be split equally between the two charities.
