Douglas in bonus point win over Vale of Lune

Visitors bring large support to Island

Douglas beat Vale of Lune 30-7 at Port-e-Chee in North One West and consolidated their eighth place in the standings.

Douglas led 10-7 at half time with tries from Carl Murray and Aidan O’Shea.

Steve Tagg struck back for Vale and his try was converted by Alex Briggs.

In the second half though Douglas cut loose and ran in four unanswered tries.

Harry Raven got the first; Niall Killey secured the bonus point, Aidan O’Shea then added his second with Ott Krussel finishing things off.
 
Emerging Nomads win at Western Vikings

Emerging Nomads claimed all the points in their Manx Shield double against Western Vikings at QE2 with a 39-18 win, despite trailing 18-15 at half time.

Orry Watterson and Rob Keelan both picked up two ties for Nomads with the other scores coming from Jack Sleight, Gaz Watt and Tom Rowley.

Ethan McNaught added two conversions.
 
Pritchard and Gantous on song for Ramsey B

Tynan Pritchard and Nico Gantous ran in seven tries between them as Ramsey B beat Castletown 51-26 at a windy Mooragh Park.

With the wind, Ramsey led 31-0 at half time.

Gantous and Pritchard ran in two apiece with Juan Callister bagging the other try. Gantous also added three conversions.

In the second half Gantous and Pritchard both completed their hat tricks, Pritchard then added his fourth and when Ben Hardman crashed over Ramsey were 51-0 ahead.

Castletown however fought back. James Emmett got their first, Marco Santos the second and two late scores from Hope Chirengwa, plus three Aaron Kiernan conversions saw Castletown win the second half.
