Ward denies the charge
A Douglas man accused of causing unnecessary suffering to his dog will stand trial this summer.
The case of 50 year-old Ross Ward of Quines Corner has been scheduled to begin on August 25 at Douglas Courthouse.
He denies the offence against his West Highland Terrier on October 26th last year.
It's alleged he didn't provide the correct skincare, bathing or grooming for his pet.
