PokerStars returns $100 million so far

PokerStars has announced it has so far returned over $100 million to poker players in the United States since its founder and one of its directors were indicted by the US Department of Justice last month.

The Isle of Man-based firm is continuing to service requests from American players to cash-out their balances.

The moves form part of a deal between US authorities and PokerStars, which saw its .com domain name returned - after being seized by the FBI - so the returns could be made.

Immediately after the seizure accounts had been frozen.
