Surplus good news - but Island needs cushion for PSP reserve shortage
The treasury minister says a declared surplus doesn't mean the Island can afford to be complacent.
It was announced last week that government income for the last financial year has revealed more than £30 million revenue surplus.
The 'unaudited accounts for the year' ending in March, is known as the Light Blue Book.
Speaking on Mandate this morning, Alfred Cannan said whilst it was clearly good news, he was obliged to sound a note of caution
The findings will go before Tywnald next week, on 16 July.
