Pilot scheme will not come to an 'abrupt end' says DHSC
More than 17,000 prescriptions for medicinal cannabis have been dispensed, for more than 380 patients, since the start of an on-Island trial.
Patients with a private prescription - for cannabis-based products for medicinal use - have been able to get their items through Karsons Pharmacy in Onchan since December last year.
As the 12-month pilot scheme nears its end, the health and social care minister was asked for an update in Tynwald this week.
