A constant stream of people were able to wander round the Callow's Yard site in Castletown on Saturday, after the doors of the development were opened up.
For four hours the man behind the scheme, Roy Tilleard, explained what had been achieved to date, and answered questions on subjects ranging from parking to the effect of the development on local shops.
Mr Tilleard says he was generally pleased with the response (audio file attached):
The multi-million pound development is due to be completed before the end of the year.
