Manx Financial Group – the parent company to Conister Bank and Edgewater Associates – has announced its interim results.
This week, the group said it had made £255,000 profit in the first six months of this year – while its trading profit has more than trebled compared to last year.
The group is Manx-based and owned with almost 90 per cent of its staff based on-Island.
Conister Bank’s Managing Director Juan Kelly says the bank’s local connections are extremely important to the company, and says the Isle of Man needs a strong domestic bank.
