Isle of Man Energy is offering priority care for those who require additional assistance and support.
The company introduced its priority care service on its Facebook page yesterday.
It says it offers assistance through extra customer support, regular comfort visits and priority call-outs.
Those eligible to qualify for it must be over 65, have a disability or long term illness, rely on medical equipment in the home, have a child or children under the age of five or must have gone through a recent bereavement, break-up or job loss, be recovering from a hospital treatment plan.
