Householders and businesses in the Isle of Man will pay more for their electricity from the start of next month.
The Manx Electricity Authority is implementing a measure agreed in last year's budget, under which it will no longer rebate the standing charge.
It means the average yearly bill for domestic customers will increase by around £42.
