You’d think that mums who are bold enough to set up business from home while also looking after the children and all that goes with would be admired and respected for their choices. But of course we live in a labels world now and apparently the incredibly patronising term ‘mumpreneur’ is increasingly in use - and it's putting people off. Part of the problem of course is that you would never hear the equivalent ‘Dadpreneur’. But should this put you off starting a new business from your kitchen table? Christy caught up with Jo Fairley – founder of Green and Black’s chocolate – to find out what’s really wrong with terms like this.
