Journey to a Dream - Jack Hunter
Journey to a Dream
Wednesday, 23 April 2025 - 41 minutes
Today, we’re chatting to Jack Hunter – a true Isle of Man racer with a serious passion for the sport.
Jack currently races in the CB500 class with Andreas Racing Association, a brilliant entry-level category that he helped to introduce to the club.
He made his Manx Grand Prix debut in 2014, placing 6th in the Newcomers B race and lapping over 105 mph in the Supertwin class.
Jack then took on the TT in 2015 and 2016, plus the Classic TT, where he cracked the top 20.
In 2017, Jack survived a serious road accident thanks to the quick response of the Air Ambulance crew and after missing that year’s TT, he came back strong to race again in 2018 and 2019.
He’s also seen success at the Southern 100, Oliver’s Mount, and the Pre-TT Classic.
And it's fair to say that racing runs in the family.... his dad, Jim, is a TT Travelling Marshal and former MGP winner, his brother Juan also races and his uncle is former TT podium finisher John Barton who now works with Milky Quayle on guiding the next generation of newcomers.
Off the track, Jack works for Swagelok and, in 2023, he and his wife Charlotte welcomed their daughter Emilia.
