ON PRAISE TODAY - 19 MAY 2019
LOOKING BACK - MOVING FORWARD
I talk with members of two Ramsey churches - Trinity United Reformed Church and the Methodist Church - as they prepare for the final services in each church, prior to the sale of both church buildings, and look forward to a future worshipping together in St Paul’s Church Hall, and working together for the benefit of the community locally and globally
Trinity United Reformed Church, Waterloo Road, Ramsey - final service on Sunday 19 May at 10.30am
Waterloo Road Methodist Church, Ramsey final service on Sunday 26 May at 10.30am
MUSIC ON PRAISE TODAY :
Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah (Welsh Male Voice Choir)
Great Is Thy Faithfulness (1999 recording by Ramsey Choral Society directed by Mrs Mavis Quirk, organist Mike Swain)

THE ISLAND SPIRITUALITY NETWORK
MEETS AGAIN ON
SATURDAY 15 JUNE
IN
ST JOHN’S MILL
from 10am - 1pm
We look forward to welcoming our guest speaker :
Reverend Mary Railton-Crowder
‘Bloom Where You are Planted’
‘Living out a vocation - from midwife to minister’
There is no set charge for ISN meetings though a suggested voluntary donation of £10 helps to defray our expenses. However, no one is EVER asked for money (we just provide a basket at the back of the room, for anyone to place a donation if they wish) so please DO NOT stay away for financial reasons. What better way to spend a Saturday morning than to gather together, sharing, reflecting and learning from one another. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday18 May and to renewing fellowship and friendship

USUALLY, ON THE LAST FRIDAY IN EVERY MONTH, in St Stephen’s Church in Sulby village, there’s a time of quiet prayer and reflection in words and music, in the style of the Taize Ecumenical Monastic Community.
There’s a warm welcome for everyone - TAIZE services are times of gentle, relaxed worship - a more informal time of prayer that’s very popular with those who don’t feel ‘at home’ at a more formal Sunday service
THE NEXT TAIZE SERVICE WILL BE AT 7pm on FRIDAY 24 MAY
NOTE……. NOTE …..
NOT THE LAST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH BUT ONE WEEK EARLIER TO AVOID TT PRACTICES WHICH WILL CLOSE THE ROAD THROUGH THE VILLAGE ON THE LAST FRIDAY IN MAY
WE RESUME THE NORMAL PATTERN OF TAIZE WORSHIP AT 7pm on the LAST FRIDAY OF EACH MONTH with effect from the last Friday in June - JUNE 28th 2019
