Ben Cunningham

Ben is best known as Manx Radio’s Hockey correspondence braving the Manx weather most Saturdays to bring us live coverage from games around the island, now he’s coming indoors to join our freelance presenter team as well continuing his work with the sports team covering Manx hockey.

Born on the island Ben is a qualified painter and decorator, but you may also recognise him occasionally driving buses as he is bank staff for Isle Of Man Transport as well. 

Away from work Ben could be found volunteering in what spare time he has left, he helps out at the Groudle Glen Railway he plays hockey for Harlequins, he is also a qualified umpire and if that wasn’t enough also plays Tennis for Albany Tennis Club. Phew!
