Third time Colby man has taken top prize at festival

A singing farmer from Colby has been awarded the top honour at this year’s Manx Music Festival.

Paul Costain picked up the Cleveland Medal at The Guild on Friday 29 April.

It’s the third time he’s taken the top prize at the festival of music, speech and dance.

Thousands of performers have competed across 200 classes – The Guild was first held in 1892.
