The St John’s romp in JCK Division Two continued on Saturday.
They won 8-1 at Malew to move eight points clear at the top as second placed Union Mills were thrashed at home by high-flying Ramsey Youth Centre.
Four from Steve Glover, a hat-trick from his brother Andy Glover and one from Mike Peace sealed another rout.
Adam Drewitt was the Malew marksman.
It now looks like being a one-horse race for the title as Ramsey Youth Centre showed their credentials with a 5-1 win at Union Mills.
After a goalless first half, Youth Centre produced a super second half show, courtesy of goals from Elliott Jordan (two), Steve Jordan, Declan Cummins and a Connal Hughes penalty.
Steven Quine scored for the home side but the match slipped away from them when centre-back Steven Halsall was sent-off.
A James Collett hat-trick and a Matty Wilshaw double helped Colby’s promotion push as they saw off bottom club Ronaldsway 5-0, as did Pulrose who won 4-2 at Foxdale.
A Barry English hat-trick and an Adam Store goal secured maximum points with Liam Harrison and Robbie Jack finding the net for Foxdale.
The unpredictables of the division met at Crosby with Marown emerging 4-1 winners over the Police.
Gary Thomas (two) and Juan Killip were among the goals.
Braddan hit seven against Douglas and District without reply - Rob Shaw, Geoff Murphy (two), Mark Watterson and Will Smith among the scorers.
