William Dunlop at Yamaha for T.T. 2013

William Dunlop has signed a deal with British Superbike team boss Shaun Muir to ride Yamaha machinery at T.T. 2013.

The 27 year old from Ballymoney will be supplied with Superbike, Supersport and Superstock machines for his challenge around the Mountain Course.

He will also contest the North West 200 and Ulster Grand Prix for Shaun Muir as well as the British Supersport Championship.

Ian Hutchinson was signed to ride for Yamaha but is ruled out for the entire 2013 season as he undergoes further surgery to his badly damaged left leg he originally hurt at Silverstone back in 2010.

Dunlop recently parted company amicably with Wilson Craig Honda after two years.

Shaun Muir will announce a new overall sponsor for the team in the next few days to replace Swan.

At present Dunlop is the sole roads rider but Manxman Conor Cummins has been linked with the team as uncertainty continues over whether or not he will join Guy Martin and Josh Brookes at Tyco Suzuki for next year.
