What a Winn!

 

St John’s have extended their lead at the top of the Canada Life Premier League.


Richard Winn was the match-winner with a hat-trick as the westerners won the match of the day.


Harry Rothwell netted the other in a 4-2 home win as southerners went down to a second successive defeat.


They replied through Mike Williams and Josh Kelly.


Jordan Kelly netted a goal in each half as Ramsey saw off  Castletown 2-1 at Ballacloan.


Mike Edge scored for the southerners who remain bottom.


Louis Thornton grabbed what could be a crucial goal three minutes from time to give Corinthians a 1-0 success at newly promoted Michael.


The other newly promoted side, Ramsey Youth Centre also ended up empty handed with a 4-0 defeat at home to Union Mills.


Jamie Johnston (two), Joey Morling and Karl Dobbin were on target for the Millers.
