Walkers gear up for Harbour2Harbour challenge

Dogs welcome but must be kept on leads

You may see more people out strolling out on main roads tomorrow (Sun 16) as the 2021 Harbour2Harbour Walk takes place.

Registration is open from 8:45am in Castletown Square for a 10am start and the walk finishes at the end of Port Erin Bay.

Walkers will be crossing the Castletown Bypass at the top of Farrants Way, and again at the lane to Pooil Vaaish Quarry, so there could be delay in the area between 10am and 11am.

Participants will follow a scenic route along the southern coast, finishing at the former Marine Biological Centre in Port Erin.

Organisers are staging a second start at Port St Mary for those who prefer a shorter route.

The event is raising funds for Southern Community Initiatives (SCI), sPort Erin and Rushen Ambulance.

Dogs are welcome on the walk, however they must be kept on the lead at all times.
