Session scrapped after just over an hour due to poor weather

Davey Todd has set the fastest lap of TT 2025 far during today's brief qualifying session on the Snaefell Mountain Course.

The 8TEN Racing rider clocked 133.155mph from a standing start in pit lane on his Superstock machine, eclipsing the previous quickest of 133.069mph on the Honda Racing UK Superbike on Wednesday (28 May).

Harrison, meanwhile set the pace in the Superbike class today at 132.484mph from a standing start.

The Superbike and Superstock timed practice was halted prematurely due to poor weather on the mountain section of the course, with the session in its entirety then scrapped shortly after due to deteriorating conditions.

Elsewhere in the Superstock class, Michael Dunlop went through on his MD Racing BMW second-fastest (130.262mph).

There were strong performances elsewhere as Dominic Herbertson (128.737mph) completed today's Superstock top three whilst the likes of Paul Jordan (128.694mph), Nathan Harrison (128.501mph) and Conor Cummins (128.389mph) also stood out in a tightly-contested field.

Meanwhile, only nine Superbike machines set times in their short time out on course - Dunlop also went second in that class at 130.76mph with David Johnson (128.895mph) putting in a strong flying lap one position further back in the standings.

The practice slot for the 1000cc machines was then brought to a halt due to low-lying cloud on the mountain section of the course with riders returned to the paddock under yellow flag and speed-controlled conditions.

There was then a small opportunity for Sidecar outfits to get some miles on the board as those that went out were able to practice under normal conditions up to Ramsey before being returned to the Grandstand from there under speed-controlled conditions.

After scrapping the remainder of today's events, race organisers add an updated schedule for tomorrow (1 June) will be announced in due course.
