Multiple superbike champion no stranger to road racing elsewhere
TT debutant Mitch Rees says he 'can't wait' to head down Bray Hill for the first time at the 2025 races.
The 32-year-old multiple New Zealand Superbike and Formula One Superbike champion will be part of the Milenco by Padgett's Motorcycles team for his maiden appearance at the racing fortnight.
He's also the latest racing talent from New Zealand to grace the meeting - among those from the country who've raced at the TT previously is 12-time winner Bruce Anstey.
Speaking to Manx Radio recently he says he's proud to be the next generation to represent his home nation:
After success in his younger years in motocross, Rees moved into road racing at the age of 21.
He now boasts four NZ Formula One Superbike titles.
He's already faced a number of TT competitors away from the Island previously, coming up against the likes of Peter Hickman, Davey Todd and Lee Johnston at Wanganui in New Zealand where Rees has already recorded 12 victories on the Cemetery Circuit.
