Title race hots up

And a Steve Priestnal hat-trick fired St Mary's to a 3-0 success over Corinthians at the Bowl as the Saints moved third.

Elsewhere, Ayre United remain in the relegation zone after going down 2-1 at home to Union Mills.

The Tangerines led at the break through Sam Ferguson but a second half brace from Sam Cain sealed the points for the Millers.

Michael did their survival prospects no harm at all with a 2-1 home victory over Ramsey, thanks to goals from Nick Hurt and Johnny Holland with Danny Oram - a year after undergoing open heart surgery – responding for Ramsey.

And fifth placed Old Boys took the points from another close fought game at Glen Road, edging out Colby 2-1.

Callum Stewart was the Old Boys hero with a double with Mark Barron replying for Colby.
