Manx left-back helps to hold Man City to draw

Kieran Tierney played his part in ending Pep Guardiola's Manchester City winning streak last night.

The Manx-born 19-year-old left-back had a hand in two of Celtic's goals as they drew 3-3 with the English Premier League leaders in the Champions League.

He took the shot which Raheem Sterling deflected in to his own net on 21 minutes to put Celtic 2-1 up, then crossed for Moussa Dembele to score the team's third of the night just after the start of the second half.

Afterwards, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers praised his young star, saying he was impressed with him in terms of how Tierney was asked to set up - to get forward but was also go up against one of the best players in the Premier League in Raheem Sterling.
