Swimming: 15-strong swimming team confirmed for Island Games

Mix of youth and experience to represent IoM in Guernsey

Isle of Man Swimming Association has announced it's team to represent the Isle of Man at this year's Island Games.

Fifteen individuals have been selected with eight making up the men's squad and seven in the women's team.

With a mix of youth and experience, the team also includes Joel Watterson, Peter Allen, Laura Kinley and Kiera Prentice who were part of the record-breaking Manx team that competed at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Two of the team's members - Kiera Prentice and Blae Richardson - will be 'dual sport' athletes at the games with the duo also taking part in the triathlon and shooting competitions respectively.

The 2023 Island Games will take place in Guernsey from 8-14 July.
