Stevenson strike sends Valkyrs into Cup final

Valkyrs A stunned Vikings A as Ben Stevenson's strike sent them through to the Manx Cup Final.

Despite having beaten Valkyrs in both league encounters this season, the westerners remained resolute to see out the game.

They'll now face Vikings B to see who will lift the trophy, after they defeated Ramsey A in the day's other semi-final.

Steven Crowe, Daisy Loader and Macklin Wilson all scored from the spot for Vikings, who won 3-2 on penalties, after regulation time had failed to produce a goal.

In the Manx Plate, Saracens Sabres booked their place in the final after a 4-2 win in their last-four tie with Bacchas B.

Tom Dalton-Brown was on target twice, with captain George Powell and Sophie Howland also on the scoresheet as Sabres aim to cap off a brilliant season which has already seen them win Rossborough Mixed Division One with maximum points.

Bacchas C will be their opponents in the final, as they needed flicks to beat Saracens Colts after the match ended 0-0.
