St John’s overturned a half-time deficit to win the clash of the day in CFS Division Two on Saturday.
Goals from Mike Stringer and Louis Finn, direct from a free-kick, sealed a 2-1 victory over Pulrose, who had led at the break, thanks to a Michael Dawson goal.
Pulrose striker David Skillen was harshly dismissed in the second half.
Douglas and District battled well but were beaten 6-3 at home by Castletown.
Town netted three in each half with Alex Crawley grabbing a hat-trick, Karl Clarke netting twice and Mike Edge getting the other.
Ramsey Youth Centre’s fine start to the campaign continued as they earned a 4-4 draw at Douglas Royal.
Martin Murphy was their main man with a hat-trick and there was also an own goal, with Chris Anderson (two), Neil Kenna and Jamie Carr the home side’s scorers.
Kenny Magee hit four as Marown trounced the Police 8-1.
Luke Wosser was the other star with a hat-trick with Ricky Lovett grabbing the other.
Northern Athletic produced a spirited showing in going down 3-2 at Braddan - Mike Shimmin, Steve Robertson and Gareth McGuire the Braddan scorers, while Malew produced a second half goal glut in the southern derby against Ronaldsway.
After edging the contest 3-2 at the break, they won 10-2 with hat-tricks from Craig Marsh and Paul Whitley.
David Kinrade, Sean Pacey, Darryl Yardley and Adam Drewitt netted the others.
