Stalemate between Kennish & Corkish

Week three of the Castle Cabs Premier Snooker League matches saw the first draw in the league.

Match one between with John Kennish and Sean Corkish ending 3-3 and both securing 1 point. Both players win £5 and Sean took the £5 for the highest break of 44. Frame scores, Kennish first, 30+ breaks in brackets, 58-68(35), 60(31)-15, 77(30)-34, 18-58, 14-64(44) and 56-24.

Match two saw leader Darryl Hill maintain his position with a 5-1 victory over Tom Miller.

The match could have been very different with Hill needing a snooker in frame 3 on the pink which he got and won that frame. He put in a clearance of 35 to pinch the 5th frame and to secure the win. Hill won the frame 87-62 despite Miller missing frame ball black on a break of 62 which was the highest of the match and day. Hill secures another £10 whilst Miller banks £5 for the 62 break. Frame scores, Hill first, 57-32, 7-63(30), 57-52(33), 69(32)-33(32), 87(35)-62(62) and 62-35.
