
Davies takes B Class, while Sammer shoots to victory in B Class
Twenty-two competitors went head-to-head in the sixth and final round of the Colin Bowen Memorial English skeet at the weekend.
Roman Sammer and Will Rand were the joint leaders after the first round with perfect 25 straights.
They were followed by John Moore and George Davies on 24 and Paul Mihailovits, Dave Corlett, Stand Cross, Michael Cross and junior Zac Bellhouse next on 23.
The final results after round 2 were in third place in C class and making a welcome return was Peter Fabrizio with 43 points, in second place on 45 was David Morgan and taking C class for the last time with 49 points was Roman Sammer.
In B class, third went to Madeleine Simpson with 41 points with Giulio Fabrizio in second place on 44 and taking B class with 45 points was George Davies.
There was a four-way tie for third place in A class between John Moore, Michael Cross Stan Cross and Peter Kelly with 47 points with Peter hitting a straight in his second round.
Second place in A class went to Paul Mihailovits with 48 points with Paul recording a straight in his second round but star of the day went to Will Rand who recorded his second straight of the day to take A class with 50 straight.
