Shooting: Latest English skeet league gets underway 

The joint leaders after the first round were Roman Sammer (A) and Michel Cross (B) with perfect 25 Straights, in equal third place were Paul Mihailovits (A), Stan Cross (A) and Jeff Corkill (A) along with Brian Faragher (B) all on 24, the leading C class shooter at this stage was Peter Fabrizio on 21.

The results after the second round - in C class we had Les Devlin and Chris Workman in equal second place with 40 points but taking C class with 41 point was Peter Fabrizio. 

Ted Kermeen was third in B class with 45 points with Brian Faragher taking second place on 47 but winning B class with 49 points was Michael Cross.

We had a three-way tie for second place in A class between Stan Cross, Paul Mihailovits and junior Joe Faragher all on 49 with Roman Sammer taking the top spot with 49 points.

Ten shooters carried on to complete a 100 targets , Roman Sammer and Paul Mihailovits finishing joint top on 95 with Jeff Corkill third on 93.
