Ramsey picked up a bonus point win away at Ashton on Mersey, coming away 34-27 victors and taking five useful points to climb to ninth place in the Cheshire (South) standings.
Fintan Cummins, Matty Clague, Henry Lord, Henry Swithinbank and Ali Trace all grabbed tries for Ramsey with Scott Kneale kicking a penalty and three conversions.
Ramsey now look forward to a visit from Congleton on Saturday.
In the same division, Vagabonds almost pulled off a big result at high flying Eagle but still came away with a creditable draw when the game finished 25-25.
Leigh Kennaugh, Paul Howard and Tom Gascoyne all crossed for Vagas in the first half and two Kennaugh conversions gave them a 19-3 half-time lead.
Eagle fought back in the second half, and despite two Kennaugh penalties, the game was tied going into the final seconds.
The final kick of the game was a long range Kennaugh penalty which drifted agonisingly wide.
Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield disruption continued over the weekend.
The scheduled match between Ramsey B and Emerging Nomads had already been postponed as Ramsey hosted a Northern Primary Schools Tag Festival at the Mooragh Park as part of their Rugby World Cup celebrations.
Additionally, Vagabonds B v Western Vikings fell by the wayside with player absences and then to cap it all, the big game between Southern Nomads and Douglas B didn’t take place due to the absence of a referee.
There was some action at Poulsom Park where new side Noa Nomads recorded their first ever victory beating Castletown 49-7.
Tom Duggan hit a hat-trick for Nomads, Damien Thirlwell bagged a brace and there were also tries from Nick Butler and Ryan Preston.
Duggan also kicked six conversions and Dave Prince one.
For Castletown, the try was from Ronalsdway old boy Martin Higgins with Will Welsh adding the conversion.
