Riley edges DTL at Santon

Yorkshireman takes top prize

Mark Riley was the winner of the second round of the Cu Plas Callow winter series Down The Line league at Meary Veg in Santon yesterday (Sunday).

He took the honours and the Highgun prize by one point on 143, from Alan Wade and Mike Walker – joint second in A class.

Juan Cowley won B class by a country mile.

He finished 12 shots clear of Giulio Fabrizio who was a further six in front of Rob Marshall and George Davies in equal third.

Roy Moore was the winner in C class from two junior shooters, Calam Craine, in second and Arran Wade who was joint third alongside Peter Fabrizio.

Meary Veg will host the second round of the Cu Plas Callow Winter Series Sporting league this Sunday (December 18).
