FC Isle of Man without an away win since November
FC Isle of Man will be looking to keep their fading play-off hopes alive as they travel to face Glossop North End in the NWCFL Premier Division tomorrow afternoon (8 February).
Looking to bounce back from defeat in midweek, 'The Ravens' this time face a side that beat them in the reverse fixture at The Bowl in early January.
The Manx side's manager Paul Jones says their last-gasp loss at Bury on Tuesday now means they've dropped 11 points after the 86th minute in matches so far this campaign.
He admits they need to find a way of being more resilient in seeing games out and getting a result, including this weekend:
After missing the chance to close the gap on teams in front of them on Tuesday night, FC Isle of Man remain seven points off the final promotion play-off spot in fifth going into the weekend.
What's more, West Didsbury & Chorlton (WDC) - who occupy that position currently - have a game in hand on the Islanders whilst Padiham in sixth - only below WDC on goal difference have played four games less than FC Isle of Man.
After a bright start on the road this campaign, FC Isle of Man are without an away victory in nearly three months - their last win on their travels came at Squires Gate on 9 November, 2024.
Elsewhere, since beating FC Isle of Man on Manx soil last month, Glossop North End have lost just one of their last four outings, winning two and drawing one during that period.
Maximum points for 'The Hillmen' this Saturday could see them move up a place in the table to 13th should Cheadle Town above them lose against South Liverpool.
Glossop North End vs FC Isle of Man kicks-off tomorrow at the Asgard Engineering Stadium at 2pm.
