Rally: 2023 Manx Classic gets underway

Three days of hill-climb events taking place across the Island

Three days of classic rallying is now underway on the Isle of Man.

Today (27 April) marks the first day of the 2023 Manx Classic - hosted by the Manx Motor Racing Club - which will see three hill-climb events held across Manx shores over the next three days.

The first stage is being held today seeing competitors take on a 1.06-mile run at the Sloc - the Sloc Road from the track to Scard Farm up to the junction with Dalby Lhagg Road is now closed and will reopen no later than 5.30pm.

Meanwhile, tomorrow (28 April) sees the second stage take place in Glen Helen involving a 1.45-mile stretch from Ballig Bridge to the Cronk-y-Voddy straight before the final stage on Sunday with the Lhergy Frissell hill-climb at Ramsey.

The Ramsey event takes on the TT course out of the town and through the likes of Ramsey Hairpin, Waterworks and the Gooseneck.
