Police hunt church vandals

A vandalism attack on a Douglas church is being blamed on a gang of youths.

Five stained-glass windows were broken at St Joseph’s Church in Fenella Avenue, Willaston, between 8am last Thursday and 8am the next day.

Police say they believe a group of young people threw stones at the windows and say the damage was unnecessary and costly to repair.

Anyone who has any information about the incident can call Willaston Police Station on 674744.
