Just ten points separate top three crews heading to Czechia

Former Island resident Harry Payne and TT competitor Kevin Rousseau return to FIM Sidecar World Championship action this weekend.

Seven weeks since the second round of this year's competition, the Steinhausen Racing duo head to Most in Czechia for the third stage of the championship taking place from today until Sunday (21-23 June).

What's more, the pairing lead the standings after the first two rounds on 75 points, but only three points clear of nearest challengers, former champion Markus Schlosser and Luca Schmidt.

Sam and Tom Christie then sit a further ten points back in the tables so far on 65.

Payne & Rousseau also heads into this weekend with an updated exhaust system and and refined cooling system in an attempt to gain a further edge at the front of the field.

Free practice has taken place this morning with the first qualifying session due to get underway this afternoon at 3.10pm local time (2.10pm UK time).

This will be followed by a ten-lap sprint race tomorrow (22 June) before the 17-lap main race on Sunday (23 June).
