Nominations open for 2019 IOM Sports Awards

Eleven titles up for consideration

Nominations are now officially open for the 2019 Isle of Man Sports Awards.

Teams, organisations and individuals can be shortlisted for the event, with 11 categories including Sportsman and woman of the year, Coach of the Year, and the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Commonwealth Games silver medallist Tim Kneale and Team GB swimmer Charlotte Atkinson scooped the top awards in 2018.

You have until 24 January to submit your nominations, with the awards ceremony taking place on 2 April next year at the Villa Marina.

Athletes can be nominated for any or all of the following categories:

  • Sportswoman of the Year
  • Sportsman of the Year
  • IOM Sports Ambassador
  • U21 Sportswoman of the Year
  • U21 Sportsman of the Year
  • Disability Sports Person of the Year
  • Veteran Sports Person of the Year
  • Sports Administrator of the Year
  • Sports Coach of the Year
  • Sports Team of the Year
  • Lifetime Achievement
