New four-year strategy announced for Isle of Man Cricket

Several core visions outlined for growing the sport

A new strategy has been launched aiming to grow the sport of cricket on the Isle of Man over the next four years.

The plan runs from 2023 to 2027, and includes plans to progress the women and girls game, high performance rankings and education.

Last year, local cricket had some significant milestones, including the creation of a women's international T20 squad and the senior men's team reaching the finals of the ICC T20 World Cup sub-qualifiers.

IOMCA Cricket Development Officer, Greig Wright, explains how good it is to see the latest crop of younger players making their way into the system:
