Millers and Marown maintain momentum

Union Mills and Marown maintained their 100 per cent records at the top of JCK Division Two on Saturday.

Man of the match Chris Kelly hit a double to fire the Millers to a 3-0 victory over Douglas Royal, with Alexander Suckling netting the other.

Meanwhile, Juan Killip struck four and strike partner Ryan Holdaway a hat-trick as Marown blew Colby away at Glen Road.

Sean Doyle (two), Richard Mulhearn and Kevin Druggan were also on target in an 11-0 romp.

Braddan’s fine form continued with a 4-1 success at the Police - David Kinrade, Dean Corlett, Paul Crilly and Danny O’Hare the scorers.

Andrew Chadwick and Stuart Morrison scored the goals as Foxdale won the western derby, 2-1 at Michael, for whom Anthony Corkhill found the net.

A Mark Walmsley hat-trick and one from Bulgarian Krasi Stoianov gave Onchan a 4-2 win at bottom club Ronaldsway.

Pulrose are only one place above them after going down in an exciting seven goal contest at home to Malew.

Joe Reece (two) and Mike Skillen were their scorers but Danny Thirwell, Adam Drewitt and Dean Kinley were all among the goals as the southerners took the points.
