Glover hat-tricks downs Pulrose

The Douglas Athletic juggernaut continued in JCK Division Two.

That’s after they made it 14 wins out of 14 on Saturday with a 6-0 win at Onchan.

A hat-trick from the main man, Mark Wolfenden, two from Paddy Gallagher and one from Lewis Howland sealed the rout.

There was a blow from promotion chasing Castletown as Michael finally found some form in a 1-1 draw at the Stadium.

Jordan Cooper had given Town a half-time advantage but Fraser Campbell rescued a point after the break.

Andy Glover scored a festive hat-trick as Braddan won 3-1 at Pulrose.

The hosts, who found the net through Peter Dunn, weren’t helped by the dismissal of Dale Walker early in the second half.

Douglas & District ran out 5-0 home winners over bottom club Governor’s Athletic, courtesy of goals from Rob McAuliffe (two), Daniel Clague Stewart (two) and Kevin Doyle.
