Douglas shared the spoils with Crewe & Nantwich in a 5-5 draw at Port-e-Chee to keep their place on top of South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two.
Second placed Crewe took the lead in the first half when scrum half Andy Thompson went in for a try and a 5-0 lead.
In the second half, Douglas had all the possession and territory but were unable to make it count.
In the end, a try from Carl Markle-Ferns deep in injury time snatched a draw.
Vagabonds ran in seven tries as they beat Oldershaw 43-5 at Ballafletcher and put last week’s disappointment behind them.
Chris Vorster was Vagas star with a hat-trick and there were also tries from James Clarke, Franzy Germishuys, Leigh Kennaugh and Francisco Iturria.
Kennaugh also added four conversions.
Ramsey finally broke their away jinx with a 19-13 win at Ellesmere Port.
Lance Wyllie picked up a try for Ramsey with Fintan Cummins adding a conversion and four penalties as Ramsey’s pack dominated the Ellesmere eight.
